Will the energy efficiency grant cover the full cost?

Under our working Ethos yes... Energy Providers decide which retrofit projects to finance, the extent of funding they offer, and the choice of retrofit coordinator or installers to collaborate with. If the job is not viable we do not go ahead. In certain instances, you may be required to contribute to the installation expenses. WE ARE NOT one of those companies, we do not ask for contributions. In our eyes this is a free scheme!!

Will I need to pay back the grant?

No, grants are non-repayable meaning you don’t need to pay the funds back. However, some grants may come with specific conditions or obligations you must fulfil

How long will the process take?

On average it takes 2 weeks from assessment to installation

What is a retrofit assessment?

A Retrofit Assessment involves one of our friendly assessors coming to complete an in-depth inspection of your house’s current heating systems and overall energy efficiency. This helps them identify which energy efficient solutions will benefit your home the most, resulting in a tailored plan that ensures you receive the optimal package.

What if I don’t want all the measures your team say I need to have?

To qualify for the ECO scheme, your property needs to achieve a minimum improvement in the EPC band. The modifications recommended by MA Services must align with this standard and should be implemented to qualify for participation in the scheme.

What is the ECO4 scheme?

Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Scheme – ECO Funding

Since April 2013, the UK governments ECO is an energy saving scheme funded by energy suppliers. The main objective of ECO Funding is to reduce the amount of energy used in homes across Britain.
